Many people are under the impression that it is the gym workout that is the basis for building muscle size or losing weight and getting toned. However, without the proper nutrition the gains you make will be minimal. To maximise your results, fuelling and refuelling the body is essential.
When most people embark on a diet, they immediately think of the foods they can't have and this gives them enough reasons to give up before they even start. However, the key to dieting (whether for muscle size or fat loss) is a balance of carbohydrates, protein and fats based on your body type and the intensity at which you exercise, together with the type of work you do.

Carbohydrates are our main source of energy. There are simple carbohydrates which give us unsustained energy and complex carbohydrates which will generate a more even release of energy.

Carboydrates will also prevent protein from being wasted as an energy source.

Protein helps with the repair and growth of muscle tissue. Adequate protein intake will keep your metabolism high and prevent muscle loss while losing body fat.

Fats help to lubricate the joints, facilities protein production and is used for energy.
So, if we restrict one or more of these food groups, the body's ability to burn body fat will be slowed down.
I can help you develop a food plan to suit your goals. Whether it be competitive bodybuilding or figure contests, size and muscle gains, weight loss or fat loss the principle is the same - preparation and planning is essential.
Supplements
Although supplements will help with your results, it is important that your diet and training are relative to the supplements you need to use. Protein powder is a great way of getting your protein source and essential for any serious athlete. 24 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY

To get results, commitment is important and for this reason, I am introducing a cancellation policy.
So, if for some reason you cannot make your appointment, at least 24 hours notice is required otherwise you will be charged the full price of the session. Likewise, if you miss an appointment and I have not been notified, you will be charged the full price of the session.
I understand that other commitments and emergencies happen, and for this reason clients are entitled to 1 free short term cancellation (you will not be charged for your first cancellation with less than 24 hours notice). You will however, be chrged for a 'no show".
I also have family and other commitments, so if for some reason I am unable to keep an appointment time, and do not give you 24 hours notice, you will be entitled to a free personal training session. Cancellations must be done by phone or txt on 027 292 3072, NOT email or facebook.
